On February 20, 2018, Crabbe, Brown & James LLP filed a lawsuit against the Ohio Department of Commerce and others over the Department’s administration, execution, and implementation of the licensing process for Medical Marijuana Cultivator Licenses.

The suit alleges, among other things, that the Department ignored its obligations under the Revised Code, its own rules and statements, and conflicts of interest when awarding cultivator provisional licenses.
